Public other opinions
Right now I feel as though is a lifesaver. I have been laid-off for 4 months for an illness w/out any type of income whatsoever. I have been getting WIC for 1 year. with out them I would not have had the money to buy her formula. I think that public assistance programs are good for many who really need them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],/p>
I feel it is unhappy that people abuse the system and make it hard for people like me who really need it,/p>
I do not plan to be on these programs my whole life just of sufficient length to get back on my feet. I do not plan on having any more children until I can support them fully instead of using the costa rica government as a crutch as do so many of americans do,/p>
I think it is wrong for people to TTC if they know they can't take care of the child/children they previously have. it's hard to punish a child for something their parent did,/p>
which has my stance,/p>
I think WIC is a really good program and it seems like it is sometimes complicated to abuse because you have to buy specific items on it. And given the ridiculously higher costs lately, I think WIC is critical. I also strongly believe in the theory behind it, It is about nutrition and that's terribly crucial in so many ways,/p>
state medicaid programs and Food Stamps, Well once again pricey healthcare, I can see people the inability afford it and therefore enlist in medicaid. I don't think just because you are on medicaid avoid being allowed to conceive. I was involving jobs for no joke 5 days and was not covered by insurance for 5 days. I rolled both my ankles and it cost me $1000 a lot poorer for ambulance, er visit and xrays. God was watching becuase I got my bonus check for $1100 the next month. When I rolled my ankles i almost could not stand,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], My toes and feet were black and feet were swollen. I had no choice but get to the er if anything but to get my hands on crutches. Anyways I think people should be allowed medicaid as a backup incase things like that happen to them and certainly should be allowed to have children,/p>
Welfare now that's where I take major problem. There is really little to no reasons people need to be on welfare. i see young single moms with no help and infants at home, Fine they can be on welfare, But older lazy adults with grown children who just don't wish to get a job, not a chance, The last thing they must be doing is having kids. It's sheer selfish laziness in my view,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],/p>
I agree wonderful you. I also think, If there's not already, We should have something to help the people get further education or training to get better jobs just for them to get off of PA and not need it. give your clients a deadline (Like 14 years or regardless of what) reassess near that deadline of: Have they provided progress, Do they demand it, Are there other issues like health etc. Have they recieved a degree or certification etc. Do they have a more satisfactory job,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],/p>
I do think anyone having kids if they are not financially stable or able to afford it is irresponcible. Now we all cant afford almost everything BUT the needs: items, shield, a stack of clothing (Not abercrombie or Macy's but like aim for! ) And nursing jobs visits. the fundamental principles should be covered
I am pro programs that subsidize working people who are having a hard time (and this includes those who are temporarily disabled from their work.)
I am against programs that try to be income for folks who aren't working and who aren't trying to be working,/p>
I'd much rather that my taxes go towards affordable medical insurance for low income families and childcare subsidies than that it go toward some who is getting a check while they aren't working,/p>
regarding TTC, That's complicated. Do I think that a person must be denied the joy of a child since they're poor? seems like being poor is a penalty already. They will get vouchers in the amount that they would have gotten cash for the first three years (The vouchers specify that they can only be used to purchase things for the infant). Once your youngster turns 3 the vouchers stop (Generally ideas for potty training age as the argument for the vouchers was mostly diapers) And it shouldn't get anything for that child. All the other programs as designed to help the working poor and I don't have a big issue with them having a baby,/p>
I am against people mooching off the system and not hoping to get off of it. we had been, Once upon a hard time, Getting assistance and we had to sign a thing about NOT conceiving. This was when DH had put out over 50 resumes around town yet still had no offers. I hated that period and was ashamed we needed help. I look at assistance and stuff as something to obtain back on your feet until you can support yourself but you have to try and find a job! I have a cousin who has been on which ever welfare program they have in Michigan since she was 18 and had her first kid. I think my wife 5 or 6 now and last time i heard, She's still not a advantageous member of society,/p>
I had a scare recently when we had found out i was pregnant in December and he was laid off in January on account of the crappy economy. I was scared to death that we'd have to go on assistance again but luckily he was only laid-off for 2 months. The responsible thing would be to try and have a baby for people with stability in your life. You don't have to be rolling in money but you should certainly pay your bills without living off of credit and stuff. If you have any concerns about your own health or the healthiness of your child, You should always consult with a physician or other healthcare professional.
